ESG - Grupo Bravante

It is our purpose to leave a positive legacy in view of the social and environmental impacts generated by our services. The ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices of Bravante Group are structured and treated seriously and with awareness. We are a company committed to social and environment preservation actions. We aim for good governance in every moment of our routine.

Learn about some of the practices that are part of our ESG Program:

Since 2012, Bravante Group has a partnership with Instituto Superarte and, together, they bring the Rumo Project to life.

The project provides for a joint approach to meet the social and environmental needs of the local community. The project headquarter is located at CIEP 250 – Rosendo Rica Marcos, at rua Visconde de Itaúna, in the Gradim district (São Gonçalo – RJ). From that partnership, numerous actions are conducted annually.

Environmental

We understand that responsibility towards the environment starts with the acknowledgement of the company’s impacts, especially in local groups. Therefore, when we think of sustainability, we develop five goals with the same goal: leaving a positive legacy for these communities.

  • Afforest the front of the company, by planting on the sidewalks and revitalizing the road;
  • Implement selective waste collection at the school in an integrated manner with the formal courses of the school curriculum;
  • Implement partnerships with garbage collector cooperatives and companies for the former to collect the material to be recycled;
  • Implement at school a seedbed with capacity for 400 seedlings of trees native to the region of São Gonçalo;
  • Offer recycled craft classes with the purpose of creating a “mass” of skilled people who are able to produce and trade recycled craft products.

Social

We understand that responsibility towards the environment starts with the acknowledgement of the company’s impacts, especially in local groups. Therefore, when we think of sustainability, we develop five goals with the same goal: leaving a positive legacy for these communities.

The access to professional opportunities takes place through the training of individuals. With that in mind, the main purpose of the social axis of Rumo Project is to provide different courses for the local community. We believe that knowledge is the greatest legacy we can leave.

  • Offer of 80 vocational training course openings for teens/young adults from the communities around Bravante.
  • Recycled craft classes with the purpose of creating a “mass” of skilled people who are able to produce and trade recycled craft products.
